Bio: Leila is the Director of Prospect Research and Management at the Eastern Michigan University Foundation. Prior to coming to the EMU Foundation, she did prospect management at Wayne State University and prospect research at the University of Chicago Medicine.

Bio: Frank is Development Portfolio and Research Officer at the Detroit Institute of Arts. His role includes prospect research and identification and prospect management. After a ten-year career in reference book publishing, Frank entered the nonprofit sector as a prospect researcher at Wayne State University. His later development work was mostly in annual giving, a role he held at the DIA before returning to the field of prospect research.

Bio: Jennifer Moody joined GOBEL in 2022 after a career with Henry Ford Health as their Manager of Research and Prospect Management. While in this role, she developed and implemented a prospect management program that streamlined major gift officer portfolios and increased fundraising efficiency. Prior to Henry Ford Health, she served as Research and Donor Stewardship Coordinator for The Henry Ford, an arts and culture organization, where she contributed to the launch of a $150 million comprehensive campaign. Jennifer is also active with Apra, serving as Chair of the Apra Fundamentals – Prospect Research and was previously a member of the Ethics & Compliance Committee. She is cowriting a chapter focused on pipeline management for the Researchers in Fundraising Best Practice Guide and Handbook for Prospect Research. Jennifer is certified in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge Fundamentals and received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She resides in Wyandotte, Mich.

Bio: Jayne has been working in higher education since 2005.  For 10+ years before joining the MSU University Advancement team she was the Exhibitions Manager at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU, working across teams to ensure that projects were completed on time and on budget, and was an active participant in the American Exhibition Organizers organization.  Her background in project management, ability to synthesize and analyzed data for multiple audiences, and strong interpersonal skills have helped her successfully transition across sectors of non-profit work.  She currently serves as the prospect development consultant for 21 fundraisers proactively conducting research and analytic analysis to enhance prospect strategies.

Bio: Stacey Murdock-Webster is the Executive Director of Prospect Research and Development at Hillsdale College, where she has led the program since 2008. Throughout her 16-year tenure, Stacey has successfully expanded the department from a one-person operation to a thriving team of six members. This team serves 34 frontline fundraisers, 11 support team members, and the institution as a whole. Her work has played a crucial role in the $690 million campaign for Hillsdale College. Stacey has developed effective systems and processes for the prospect development program, while providing valuable support to the institutional advancement team. Beyond her role in prospect development, Stacey has also been an integral part of the leadership team during two database conversions. Her expertise ensured a seamless transition during these important projects. Prior to her career in Fundraising, Stacey gained valuable experience in Sales & Marketing within the hospitality industry. She holds a bachelor's degree from Hillsdale College and remains actively engaged in the community.
